Our muslim community in Manchester is embarking on an life-changing project to purchase a centre for our community, a space that will be a hub for Islamic learning, community engagement, and a place of spiritual security for our children and the entire community.
For years, Manchester Usrah has gathered every fortnight to nurture Islamic values, foster unity, and provide much-needed guidance and support for all members of the community. Other features in our current community include:
- Islamic teachings for children to build a strong foundation in their faith.
- Youth programs that help our young ones grow into confident, knowledgeable Muslims.
- Halaqahs and gatherings for men and women to strengthen their connection to Allah and to one another.
- Providing a supportive and welcoming environment for all.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah), beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them.” (Sahih Muslim)
